Batman Arkham Asylum (13% so far) and other comic book news

Photobucket

In a nutshell this is what Batman Arkham Asylum is. A lot of unnecessary inverted takedowns, surprise walls blowing up, silent take downs on guys on the phone, helping a criminal from a ledge then knocking him out without pressing a button, etc. This is the type of game where you find yourself saying, "That's fucked up." and then you laugh. To put aside any confusion about the game to you guys who are still contemplating whether this game is a buy..this game is a buy. You might think that it's one of those rip off Metal Gear Sold, just like that game Getting Up, you remember that game? Same tags over and over again, lame sneak arounds, and what not. Anyways, this game is beyond that. It uses elements from sneak around games almost giving you the feeling that you are Batman. It also uses the element of strategy, which goes hand-in-hand with sneak games. And also, if you must know, it's a beat-em-up game. YEAAAAAH BUTTON MASHING TIME DURING COMBAT!!! BOUT TO PWN SUM NUBS WITH MY FAST FINGER SKILLZ! No really, it's still fun.

Moving on to the coolest thing about Batman; his gadgets. Now, I'm not too far with the game, but it was so exciting I had to let people know what was awesome so far. One of the coolest things so far is Batman's exploding gel. It can be applied to breakable walls or any flat surface you stand in front of. I've used it to blow people away mostly, but it helps you get to unlockables, new areas, and you get to blow people up. He has other ones, but it's classic Batman so far for me..grappling hooks and batarangs *sigh*. Also, a cool little thing they did in this game are riddles left by a man who makes riddles..you know him; he doesn't need an introduction. Aside from alot of the cool things in this game, there are bads..and in an attempt to being fair I'll tell you them.

There's this thing called detective mode.. You can see through walls, and you think it's awesome at first. But after a few walks around Arkham; you become dependent. Another bad thing about the game is..well..detective mode makes the game easier. I admit that I use it, and sometimes leave it on (on "accident"), but I find it alot more fun to turn it off when not needed.

There's alot left to say, but I have nothing left to say. Why? Because I'm not even done yet. But I will leave you with these parting words: Batman...

does not like chocolate..

haha kinda like those endings in old superhero tv shows,

"WILL THIS BE THE END OF MARVEL? WILL DISNEY FUCK MARVEL OVER FOREVER? WILL MARVEL EVER BUY THEMSELVES BACK?? FIND OUT SOON IN THE NEXT ISSUE OF..LIFE;AND HOW IT FUCKS SHIT UP FOR YOU!"

seriously though..wtf Marvel??
